Engagement Sessions: What to Expect
During engagement sessions, we typically spend an hour together. This time allows us to get to know each other better, and it also gives you an opportunity to become more comfortable in front of the camera. Additionally, we can discuss your wedding plans and answer any questions you may have!
Together, we'll select a single stunning location that complements your desired vibe & aesthetic. While I can provide you with a few suggestions to get us started, the possibilities are truly limitless! So, if you have any particular ideas or preferences for your ideal session location, please don't hesitate to share them with me.

Clothing
I'm frequently asked about clothing recommendations, so I thought it would be helpful to provide some information on this topic. When planning your outfits for the session, there's one crucial guideline to keep in mind:
Complement & Coordinate but dont get too matchy!
Find a color palette that you love and choose outfits that compliment each other without looking too matchy-matchy. You can choose to do nuetrals with a few pops of color or a softer palette that has different ranges in tone of the same shades.
Suggestions:
If you have a fun patterned outfit you would like to use, limit it to one person. That way they will pop and still coordinate. Multiple patterns can look busy, and this way they wont be competing with one another.
Add dimension and interest by mixing up the texture of the clothing material and accents.
Feel free to bring any accessories such as scarves, hats, belts and basically anything with your flair. Accessories can pull together an outfit and make it look complete. By switching up accessories and layers, you can get multiple looks without having to do complete outfit changes.
Keep our backdrop in mind when choosing your clothing. If we are on a beach, aim to dress in clothes that are light and flowing. If we are surrounded by fall leaves, layering up with sweaters or scarves is a great option.
Most importantly, be sure to wear clothes you feel comfortable in. Your confidence will really shine through in your photos!
Try to avoid: Large logos, Large Text, Neon Colors
And if you feel like you are in need of assistance, I am happy to help you! Arrange your outfits then send me photos of your favorite combinations. We can work together to ensure we find the perfect style!

Investment & Delivery
In regards to your photos, as I sort through all of the images from our session, I choose to edit the ones that best represent you. I love to give you the images where there are beautiful expressions, and priceless moments being captured. While I do not share every single image from our session, I do strive to deliver the best photos(s) of each pose.
If you would like, I will post a few sneak peek photos on my Instagram + Facebook page within 48 hours of our session.
