Phew! What a busy wedding season it has been. Now that the dust has settled, wedding season has come to a close and the New Year has begun. It's got me thinking about all of the weddings I was fortunate enough to photograph this past year. Ones filled with wonderful couples, beautiful ceremonies and some very unique wedding venues. I thought It would be a good idea to start off this new year with my favorite venue from 2021. Adrianna & Andy chose Bube’s Brewery in Mount Joy, Pa for the wedding and reception festivities; an offbeat, historic 19th-century brewery and museum. Let me tell you that you won't be able to take more than a few steps in between the "oh wow" and "this is so cool"’s.
Adrianna’s suite was just one of the many themed hotel rooms Bube’s had. From Jungle, Moroccan, New Orleans, Asain Temple and the Good Princess room - which the bride and bridemaids used to get ready and the Arabian Nights room - where her dress was photographed in.
Andy and his Groomsmen were able to make use of the life sized chess board and the old barrel room for a photo-op.
Adiranna & Andy’s ceremony was quite obviously the highlight of the day. They tied the knot in the beautifully eerie catacombs, located stories below the surface of the street in the aging stone cellars.
After a candle lit ceremony and taking a few shots alone with the newly weds down in the catacombs, we made our way back to street level for formals before moving on to the reception.
Adrianna & Andy did such an incredible job decorating their reception themselves and with such detail. It was a lot of fun discovering each piece they incorporated and photographing them.

As their guests partied on, we took Adrianna & Andy back around the hotel and brewery to get a few more portraits to wrap up the evening!
